It will also propose a proposal for the City Council to apply for aid within the Housing Plan 2017, in order to act in the Rehabilitation and Urban Regeneration of the districts of Totana.

The Municipal People's Group during the celebration of the ordinary plenary of the month of February will urge the City Council to show its support and make available to the Association "Save the Archive of Salamanca", for the return of documents that are unduly held by the Generalitat Catalan.

E General Archive of the Spanish Civil War, is a documentary archive located in the city of Salamanca, state owned, created in 1999 and is currently integrated into the Documentary Center of Historical Memory, under the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

It was created from the Civil War Section of the National Historical Archive, during the war, to store all the documentation that was not taken or destroyed at the end of it.

At present it is a documentary source of great value for historians, and has even served as a fundamental pillar of information to request pensions or indemnifications.

The President of the Association "Save the Archive of Salamanca", Policarpo Sánchez, delivered in the Delegation of the Government of Castilla-Leon, several boxes (8) containing about 64,000 signatures, in which the President of the Catalan Generality, Carles Puigdemont, to return the funds of the National Archives of Salamanca, which the Generalitat still illegally retains in its possession.

There are more than 400,000 documents, among which we find, and hence our interests, some that refer to our regional history, documents related to the Romea Theater, as well as various cards and files of the General Union of Workers (UGT) and Others related to families of Totana and the Union.

In short, we are facing an important Historical Documentary Heritage, which reflects and unveils unpublished aspects of the work and cultural activity of the Region of Murcia.

In response to all of the above, the Municipal People's Party will urge the City Council to make an express declaration of support for the Association in a regular communiqué of February, which will be held tomorrow, Thursday, through a press release to the same, as well as our entire Disposition, to participate with it and try that these documents revert in the regional or municipal heritage, if any.

In addition, we want this petition to be transferred to the Government of the Nation, urging it to take the necessary measures to enforce the Law and the Constitutional Court's Judgment, in this sense, forcing the Generalitat to return the documents of Murcia that it unduly holds.

In another of the motions that we present before the plenary we urge the City Council to request the aid programs for Urban Regeneration and Renewal (ARRU) within the Housing Plan 2017.

The regeneration and urban renewal promotion programs (ARRU) seek to carry out a comprehensive action to rehabilitate the urban tissues and degraded areas of the municipalities.

Its purpose is to improve public spaces through the urbanization and redevelopment of the urban environment of the municipality, which are beneficiaries of this line of aid within the Housing Plan.
