The Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes is in luck.
On January 25 he celebrated his nine years working for those affected by rare diseases and their families.
D'Genes was born nine years ago with the purpose of creating spaces of exchange and coexistence between relatives and parents with children with rare diseases, and to advance in the improvement of the quality of life of those affected.
Nine years later, the balance of everything achieved is highly positive, since the association has a reference center in the multidisciplinary approach to these pathologies, the "Celia Carrión Pérez de Tudela" Center, which offers a wide portfolio of services.
In addition, D'Genes has made a great effort to give visibility to rare pathologies and is present with talks and other activities in schools, associations or a multitude of events.
Also in these nine years, in addition to the headquarters of the association, located in Totana, have opened delegations in Murcia, Northwest, Campos del Río, Lorca and Alhama de Murcia.
The president of D'Genes, Juan Carrión Tudela, wanted to thank the support of all the people and institutions that throughout these nine years have extended their hand to the association and have contributed to that the group of people who live with a Rare disease can open windows of hope.
