The 1st contest of showcases and premises of Carnaval Totana 2017 is organized by the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval de Totana in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the City of Totana and the Association of Merchants of Totana.
They will be able to participate as much windows as interiors of premises and shops that are decorated for the carnivals of Totana 2017.
The intention of both the Federation of Carnival Peñas, as well as the City Council and the Association of Merchants, is to create a festive atmosphere of carnival in establishments and premises of the municipality of Totana, thus joining the parades, events and events held in Our town on the occasion of the carnival.
The registration to participate in this contest will be in the City of Totana in the morning, or in the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval de Totana, from January 16, 2017 until Friday, February 17.
The visit to the premises will be Monday, February 20 in the afternoon.
The prizes will be the following:
First prize: trophy + two months of free publicity courtesy of Totana.com and dinner for two at Venta La Rata Restaurant.
Second prize: trophy + dinner for two people in Platea Restaurant.
The jury will be composed of: a representative of the City of Totana, the President of the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval de Totana, President of the Association of Merchants, a representative of Totana.com and two people trained in the subject.
The prizes will be delivered on Saturday March 4 during the awards ceremony and carnival party at 24.00 hours.
In addition, the visit of the registered establishments and premises will be recorded by the local media.
