The City of Totana processed a total of 43 civil marriages during the year 2016, according to sources from the Bureau of Statistics, in charge of the management of this municipal service.
In the year 2015 a total of 42 celebrations were counted, 43 in 2014, while in the years 2013 and 2012 celebrated 22 and 31, respectively.
For the beginning of the file of Civil Marriage it is necessary to go to the Civil Registry of Totana, located in the Courts of Totana, Rambla de la Santa Avenue, or in any Court of Spain.
The couple must be informed in the aforementioned Registry of the documents necessary to contract marriage.
It will be provided along with the explanatory form of the necessary documentation, the instance for later presentation in the Registry.
It is recalled that it is exclusive competence of the Civil Registry, so it will not be possible to request a date for marriage in the City of Totana until the parties have registered in said Registry to carry out the appropriate procedure.
Once the witnesses appear in the Civil Registry, the couple can go to the City of Totana (Statistical Service, ground floor) and request the date to get married.
They are established as business days for the celebration of civil marriages in the City of Totana from Monday to Friday, at noon;
And on the weekends, enabling for that purpose the Plenary Hall.
The amount of the fee for each service is established in the Fiscal Ordinances, so that it is 60 euros from Monday to Friday at noon;
And 120 euros on Friday afternoons and weekends.
