The large families of Totana who want to benefit from real estate tax (IBI) bonuses of their usual home can already request it until the end of May in the Citizen's Attention Service of the City Council, according to the Councilor for Finance, Ana María Cánovas.
The mayor recalls that taxpayers holding large families have a bonus on the full IBI, whose percentage varies according to the category of each of the families and that can be requested within the first five months of the current year.
Thus, a 40% bonus of the full tax rate is established for large families of general category (up to four children) and 60% for special category families (five or more children).
Bonuses are granted every year at the request of the large family owner and the interested parties must submit the request for the bonus identifying the property, together with a photocopy of the document indicating ownership of the property, a large family certificate, Photocopy of the IRPF declaration sheet.
The deadline for submitting the application is 31 May and the application must be submitted to the SAC with all the necessary additional documentation to process said bonus.
