The investment approved yesterday of 400,000 euros for investments in the potable water network is going to imply a significant improvement in the network and a considerable saving for the neighbors.
The drinking water distribution network is now in a yield of just over 50%, the goal is to reach 80% which would be an acceptable performance.
In the elaboration of the Adjustment Plan, one of the most difficult issues to tackle and to reach understanding was precisely the issue of water.
From the PSOE we have always defended that the investments in the network have to be with external financing but never of the private company, affirms its spokesman Andrés Garci'a.
On May 26, the first lieutenant and socialist spokesman Andrés García, accompanied by Councilwoman Ana Canovas, met in the Regional Assembly with the spokespersons of the four parliamentary groups to explain the situation of the network and the need for investment. Plans to make a multiannual investment plan of 400,000 euros over three years, an issue that all groups saw as necessary.
In this sense the Socialist Parliamentary Group presented a motion to the plenary of the Assembly being approved unanimously.
He has also presented an amendment to the regional budgets to contemplate this investment in our municipality, just as the Parliamentary Group of Citizens has done, the latter being the one that has been approved unanimously.
