The Department of Festivals keeps open until tomorrow, December 15, the deadline to register in the II Christmas Showcase Competition "Totana'2016, organized by the Department of Celebrations and aims to promote the creativity of merchants to the Time to present their establishments and products during the next Christmas.
The initiative aims to make these more attractive to the neighbors and customers that help to create a special festive atmosphere, on dates so marked, on the streets of the city.
In the contest, will be able to participate all those commercial establishments located in the municipality of Totana, independently of the product that offer to the consumer.
In addition, the decoration of the shop windows has to be directly related to the environment typical of Christmas parties, valuing aspects such as artistic creation (originality, ingenuity and artistic wealth);
Used materials;
composition;
Effort and diligence in the execution of the works.
In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to submit the application for registration until 2:00 pm in the Municipal Registry of the City of Totana.
The jury will visit the registered establishments, on 19 and 20 December 2016, during the opening hours of business;
And this one will be formed by the Councilor of Festivities, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, or person in whom delegate and people recognized in the matter.
Likewise, a prize of 100 euros will be awarded, and the jury will also be able to award recognition awards that it deems appropriate.
The award ceremony will take place on December 21 at 7:00 pm at the award-winning establishment.
