Municipal workers have been working for a few days to build the new "Bethlehem Municipal", which is scheduled to open on December 22 in the exhibition hall "Gregorio Cebrián", from 20:00 hours, within the program Of activities of Christmas and Kings.
According to information from sources of the councils of Culture and Celebrations, the municipal nativity will share space with an exhibition that will also remain during the holiday season and is entitled "Pottery of Totana."
The workers of the Department of Services and Maintenance of the City have already installed the platform that will support the work, whose surface exceeds 90 square meters.
The realization of the crib takes place during the next few days so that it can be open to the public on that day and remain throughout Christmas.
The works of preparation of this stage are being directed by the teacher belenista Pedro Navarro Diaz, who renews each year to be more attractive.
It will employ more than 400 figures and about fifteen scenes belenísticas.
To prepare this crib will be used, among other materials, about 6,000 kilograms of earth and other stone and more than a hundred bollards of cork, among many other materials.
