The PP will ask the Plenary for the municipal intervention to carry out a report on the status of the municipality's debt

In addition to urging the State General Audit Office and the Court of Auditors to audit these accounts

From the Popular Party as we proposed in the plenary of September 2015, we consider it imperative to carry out an audit that sheds light on detailed and detailed accounts and municipal management.

The City of Totana shines for its lack of transparency especially in the economic section, with the occult and bias reflected in the study presented by the Councilor of Finance and prepared "to measure" by a company affiliated with the PSOE, skipping from the beginning Agreement unanimously adopted in said plenum that it would be carried out by the Municipal Technicians.

The recent report entitled "economic-financial situation analysis", is not a financial audit, as this group called in full to be carried out, since an audit consists of the examination and evaluation of the financial statements of an Entity To comment on whether said financial statements reflect the true and fair view of the entity's assets, while what has been presented by the Government Team carried out by the company ACAL is not governed by any law or under the accounting principles governing the entity. General Accounting Plan (PGC) in force.

For the Municipal People group the presented is a mere subjective and partisan report made by a consultant to the customer's liking.

From the Popular Party we consider that an auditing company is a totally independent entity governed by the Audit Law and its work must go in compliance with said law and respecting the PGC.

The report made by ACAL is totally biased and is made ad hoc (made especially for a specific purpose or intended for a specific situation), with a marked political character and lack of objectivity.

The purpose is to show a situation of extreme gravity that serves as a refuge due to the poor management of the Mayor and his team and as justification of the tax increase.

The report is the result of a contractual relationship by which the Mayor contracts the consultant to assist and assist in their role, we repeat that the consultants do not audit.

If the Mayor had wanted to show the real image of the City's debt situation, he would not have hired a consultant, but an auditor, or would have fulfilled the full agreement in which he urged the Municipal Officials to carry it out.

It is therefore essential to carry out a verification of the analysis presented (whose cost has been close to € 20,000) by the Intervention services of the City of Totana, which report the truthfulness and reflection of the faithful image of the states of Income and expenses, as well as the concepts considered as debt, corroborating that it complies with current regulations in accordance with the General Accounting Plan in force.

In addition, we want the General Audit Office and the Court of Auditors to proceed to audit the accounts of the City Council, also analyzing the economic and financial analysis presented by the company ACAL, in order to be presented once and for all accounts Clear of this City Hall as we did since the Popular Party when entering to govern in 2011, in this case the audit was carried out by the Municipal Technicians.
