The Local Government Board has approved the proposal of Councillor of Commerce collecting bases governing the selection process and general conditions to qualify for a retail space in the area of La Santa de Totana because of the pilgrimages of the patroness, Santa Eulalia de Merida, held during the December 8 and January 7, respectively.
The application deadline is until 25 November 201, for the pilgrimage of December 8, 2016 until December 16, 2016, for the pilgrimage of January 7, 2017.
In the festivities of Santa Eulalia two processions are held in the town of Totana: first, during the morning from 7 to 8 December 2016 (the Pilgrimage of Santa Eulalia Bajada to the hermitage of San Roque);
and the second on January 7, 2017 (the pilgrimage to rise from the church of Santiago to the sanctuary of the Holy).
It has as custom and tradition for the pilgrimage of December 8, the installation of a post churros (maximum 5 positions) is allowed, given a favorable report from the municipal veterinary service.
And for the pilgrimage of January 7, you may be fitted on the back of the sanctuary various positions focused on selling different items, from churros to gift items, of which a maximum of 30 posts is estimated.
Applications must be submitted by check Monday through Friday and from 09:00 to 14:00 hours, depending on application form found in the City Council, all before the above mentioned deadlines.
The application must include a clear, the applicant's name, address, a contact number, email address, characteristics of the post and its dimensions, and the product being sold.
The procedure will be annual, so being authorized one year, no right to ride his position in subsequent pilgrimages, must make the request and enter the selection process each year.
Once approved the application, shall pay the rate for the year 2016/2017, according to the local tax rules in the account number BMN-Cajamurcia n ° ES41 0487 0042 13 2080000208, that the City of Totana has open in that entity, within four calendar days from the day following receipt of the notification.
The current rate is 10 euros / linear meter and be charged a fee fixed position held equal to 6 euros for the cleaning and garbage collection.
Once payment, copy of the form of payment of fees to the fax number 968 41 81 83, with the following reference will be sent: "Participation in the Pilgrimage of the Holy" before Dec. 5 for the Pilgrimage 8 December 2016;
and before 5 January for the January 7, 2017.
