The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana has processed during the first half of this year a total of 85 financial aid aimed at supporting needy individuals and families in this municipality, according to sources from the municipal department.
This aid corresponded to 38 benefits support and Social Emergency (PAES), 26 Compensatory Revenue Support for Social Inclusion (RACI) and 21 assistance grants FORIN training program.
All these aids have in common the fact be directed to support the coverage of basic needs of people and families with insufficient economic resources, although each, according to their profile has agreed to one or the other.
From the Council recalls that the PAES address the most urgent and unforeseen situations, RACI permanent low-income situations and FORIN scholarships serve to support training and social learning processes.
It also reported that during the 2015/2016 school year has handled a total of 54 Economic Benefits of Child Support or at risk of poverty or social exclusion.
