More than 150 children have participated during the three shifts this summer in the program of work and family reconciliation "Holidays 3.0" promoted by the Association "El Candil", with the collaboration of the Youth Council.
This initiative, already consolidated in the municipality of Totana, becomes a conciliation service for vacation periods of school-age children, mainly between 3 and 12 years.
This summer the project has been offered for the second consecutive year, in three different periods: the last week of June;
July and August the first half just ended, so that the service has been extended from June 24 to August 15 inclusive.
The project has been developed in schools "Santiago" and "Tierno Galvan" Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 14:00.
During the program participants have made numerous recreational and educational support activities as well as creative and artistic expression workshops, games and excursions, group dynamics, among others.
The councilor thanked bouquet "The Candle" which, once again, has opted for such initiatives to reconcile work and family life;
and congratulated the working families who have taken advantage of this summer service;
while announced that the municipal government will continue to pursue such programs during holiday periods of school.
