The Department of Citizenship reports that during the last year have launched a number of participatory structures that underpin the municipal social participation in Totana during this term.
The municipal government has set up channels for citizen participation that enable involvement and active participation of the residents in different areas of municipal management, being fundamental pillars of municipal management active local participation, transparency and the involvement of citizens in different areas of municipal management.
This has revived the Municipal Council of Citizen Participation, as a body promoting the participation of residents of the municipality of Totana, and channel participation in the planning, organization and evaluation relating to the management areas of the City of Totana.
