Begins "Training course for the Care of Dependents" in the CLD

The Department of Economic Development, Public Works, Employment and Industry of the City of Totana, in collaboration with the State Association of Persons and Caregivers in Rural Areas "Solidarity", has launched in the CLD de Totana the "Course training for the Care of Dependents ".

In the same a total of 40 hours, funded by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia and the European Social Fund, along with the collaboration of COAG Murcia participate.

The objective of this training is to give a basic and ongoing training for carers who care for people in situations of dependency, providing them with knowledge about dependency, aging and care necessary and basic skills to own, giving them a official course completion certificate.

In short, it is training both carers of dependents, as well as any other person purporting to direct his professional life in this sector, with the aim that the end of their learning are prepared for this work.

Councillor for Economic Development, Antonia Camacho said during the presentation that is the intention of the Department to continue offering within the training offer that offers the same, different courses related to the care of elderly and dependent, being a sector considered as a new source of employment.
