Totana City Council and the Union of Cooperatives of the Region of Murcia (UCOMUR) Work have recently signed a cooperation agreement in order to energize the new Business Incubator, launched a few months ago;
and promote positive action to boost the social economy, employment and local development in Totana
This agreement was signed in the Business Incubator Mayor, Juan Jose Canovas, and the president of UCOMUR, Juan Antonio Pedroza, who explained the lines of action of this joint project.
The event was also attended by the Councillor for Economic Development and Public Works, Employment and Industry, Antonia Camacho.
The agreement aims to work in the promotion of social economy in general and labor associations, cooperatives and other enterprises owned by their workers particularly in Totana.
UCOMUR is committed to the development of measures of information, advice and training aimed at improving business and professional qualifications of those who opt for self-employment through a business project under the cooperative formula.
In addition, direct and individualized attention will be paid, designed to enhance the self-employment under the formula of worker cooperative, and especially women;
as well as advice and information intended to integrate the labor market, either employed or self-employed under the formula of Associated Work Cooperative.
Similarly, conducting courses or briefings on cooperativism in particular and the social economy, training courses for the creation and launch of his own company under the formula of worker cooperative, or be offered another, in order to facilitate market entry self-employment.
the organization of seminars and round tables that contribute to the enhancement of the search for paid employment or self-employed, under the formula of Associated Work Cooperative, the largest number of people in the municipality of Totana is also contemplated.
Similarly, participation in all those training programs that UCOMUR intends to develop in the municipality of Totana be offered;
