A total of 30 children are participating during these days in the "Holidays 3.0" project, which promotes the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" in collaboration with the Youth Council of the City of Totana, in the CEIP "Santiago "to reconcile work and family life.
Totana City Council, together with the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle", put in place the Easter 2016 edition of this initiative reconciling work and family life, in these school holidays.
The mayor, Juan José Canovas, visited educational facilities in which this program is developed in order to see first hand its development, which takes place on 21, 22, 23, 28 and 29 March, in time From 9 to 14 hours.
In the same children between 3 and 12 years participate;
and it has a one-time fee of 20 euros per participant.
This activity is intended to provide a fun and educational space of time where children can perform various activities, crafts, workshops of artistic expression and creativity, homework, sports, games, group dynamics, workshops healthy habits, including other activities.
The City Council has worked to provide technical and infrastructure support from the Youth Council for the development of activities related to the program and work with 900 euros to finance part of the costs of implementing the activities.
The Mayor thanked the work done by "The Candle" to develop such programs in collaboration with local government and reiterated its commitment to continue developing this type of action of reconciling work and family life, so it was announced the launch again a new edition for the summer months, coinciding with school holidays.
