The Autonomous Community of Murcia, through the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, has awarded a grant amounting to 84,515 euros to the city of Totana to develop measures and Extraordinary Home Help and Contracting Practitioners for the Care of Dependents of town.
For its part, the City of Totana bring the total amount of 28,173 euros for this service, which aims to improve the quality of life of this group of needy people in the town.
Under the grant, the Department of Social Welfare will to continue this service throughout this year to distribute this amount among the different services provided such as home help during the weekends and holidays, meals home, telecare, and hiring a social worker to care for these dependents.
