The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the Councilor for Tourism, Verónica Carricondo, have attended the Local Government Board of the Tourist Association of Sierra Espuña, held at the Aledo City Council, which addressed the proposal for the festival ECOS 2020 and the presence of the Sierra Espuña Territory at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) of the year 2020.
In addition, the follow-up report of the marketing contract with Viajes Wala and the status report of the Integral Tourism Quality System in Sierra Espuña Destinations (SICTED) were discussed.
At the end of the Governing Board, the promotional video “Espusendas†was presented, which is a select proposal of five natural routes designed by Espuña Turística, which is the Association of Tourist Entrepreneurs of Sierra Espuña.
With this tool the path of the Sierra Espuña territory is known and great natural values, history, customs, festivals and traditions can be discovered, being able to enjoy a great variety of genuine ecotourism activities of the natural park.
