On Friday, July 19, a new edition of the Popular Summer Race of Totana was held on the occasion of the "Fiestas de Santiago".
On this occasion the circuit has been modified with four laps but maintaining the distance of 5.2 km for the absolute and veteran categories, which was adopted five years ago.
There was a large participation by the Totana Athletics Club in the absolute test.
The first CAT athlete to cross the finish line was Stefan Pracht, 19 of the general with a time of 20:08 minutes and 4th in the M50 Veteran category, followed very closely by Miguel Ăngel del Vals finished in position 21 of the general and 4th in M40 with a time of 20:16.
After a few moments Carlos Ballester crossed the finish line, 6th in M40 (21:23 minutes) and Borja Martínez, 19 in Senior Men (21:48).
Aurelio Cánovas (23:03), finished 8th in M40, followed closely by Bernabé Martínez (23:19) 19 in M50.
José Pérez was 6th in M45 and crossed the finish line with Paula Pérez, 1st in M45 with a time of 24 minutes and 19 seconds.
Jesús Serrano participated on Saturday July 20 in the 10K Ciudad de Jumilla, which had the participation of 116 athletes, on an urban route that in several sections was hard on the slopes of the old town.
Finally, our partner crossed the finish line in the 26th position of the general and 5th of his category Veteran C, with an excellent time of 44 minutes and 30 seconds.
