Last Saturday, May 25, the Roller Hockey Club Totana traveled to the town of Concentaina in Alicante, where it was invited to participate in the Federación Initiation Cup and the Benjamin Silver Federation Cup, a Skateboarding tournament organized by the Skating Federation of the Valencian Community.
The young and nourished totanera quarry displaced two teams one in the Initiation category and another in the Benjamin Silver category.
During the day there were several meetings of the two categories, which faced clubs in Villena, San Vicente del Raspeig, Concentania (two teams), Banyeres-LaCañada (two teams).
The day was followed by a large audience, among which stood out the courageous fans of Totana.
The day was a colorful demonstration of this sport that involves the skating technique, together with the handling of the stick, and other elements such as speed, strategy and strength.
During the games spectacular plays could be seen and the important evolution that the younger members of the club have had was verified.
The day came to an end in the best way for the Hockey Skates Club of Totana , which won the victory in both categories, Initiation and Benjamin, beating clubs with extensive experience in the field of hockey.
On the closing day the totanero Club was congratulated by the leaders of the Valencian Federation, who recognized the work of Alain Martínez Aledo, coach and alma mater of the totanero club.
From the Hockey Club Totana thanked the fans, and particularly the families of the players for their support and commitment to this sport.
Also, the club and its fans, thank the City of Totana the transfer of training facilities, while asking the corporation to commit to enable some sports facility with the necessary infrastructure, mainly fences, for the regulated practice of this sport, which would allow the totanero team to participate and organize official events of this sport.
