Civil Protection has served in the last twenty-four hours only six major incidents during the rainy season recorded since last night, where in most points of the municipality of Totana have exceeded 70 liters per square meter, in what is already a chapter of Historical rainfall and the most important happened in April in the last 50 years.

In the urban center of Totana 61 liters per square meter have been counted while the rainy episode from Thursday to Saturday has registered a total of 74.2 liters per square meter, according to sources of Civil Protection in this municipality.

Volunteers of Civil Protection have managed these incidents during the day today due to heavy rains in the municipality, highlighting the fall of two trees: one, inside the enclosure of the Tierno Galván CEIP that has detached on the school fence;

and another, on the MU-502 road of La Santa, which connects Totana and Aledo.

The obstacles in the aforementioned road due to the detachment of the tree that impeded the circulation in the two lanes have been removed after being cut off and removed by the firefighters of the Fire and Civil Protection Park, at 8:10 am, being free to from this time to vehicle traffic.

In addition, another tree that has been detached next to the heated pool has been signposted and adapted, and above all water recesses and the removal of sewer lids on public roads in different areas of the urban area but not very relevant, according to informs Civil Protection.

The climatological forecasts have been fulfilled and there has been a historical episode of rains in the month of April;

although it is not finished yet.

Although the municipality of Totana has not been one of the most beautiful areas, the figures are spectacular;

given that in a few places in the Region of Murcia have already exceeded 100 mm since Holy Thursday.

According to the same sources of the Civil Protection Climatology Service, this storm is not over yet;

since until Tuesday you can continue to record rainfall, especially tomorrow, Sunday, when the weather will worsen again from noon and you can register locally strong rains and storms, although without reaching the generalized situation today.

Also, on Monday and Tuesday it may continue to rain, but in a weaker and more dispersed way.
