Municipal authorities will attend as guests this Saturday, April 13, at 6:00 p.m., the act of blessing of the Garden of the Brotherhood of Prayer in the Garden, Our Lady of Charity and Our Lady of the Faith "La Posá" , whose act promotes this brotherhood of the Holy Week of Totana within the program of social activities organized by the Illustrious Superior Chapter of Processions.
The garden that will receive this denomination is located in the avenue of Lorca, next to the building of the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel";
and during the same a mosaic with the image of the Christ and the Angel of the sculptural group of the Prayer in the Orchard will be discovered.
The event will be attended by officials of the City of Totana, who will accompany the president of the brotherhood, Julio Alberto Murcia Sánchez, the religious authorities, directors of the Illustrious High Council of Processions and representatives of the different brotherhoods and brotherhoods of Holy Week totanera
This initiative comes to fulfill the agreement, unanimously, of the Plenary Session of the Totana City Council that approved last June to name the garden located on Lorca Avenue, next to the access stairs to the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", with the name of "Garden of the Brotherhood of Prayer in the Garden, Our Lady of Charity and Our Lady of Faith'La Posá'".
This agreement responded to the petition filed in May 2018 by this brotherhood;
that was constituted in 1931 and its meetings took place in the inn of San Antonio, located in the avenue of Lorca, reason why popularly, from its origins, it is known as "Hermandad de La Posá".
In addition, the aforementioned garden that will receive the aforementioned nomination has historically been the usual place for rehearsal of the Cornetas and Tambores Band of this brotherhood.
In this legislature also have given name to public spaces of the urban helmet the brotherhoods of Santa Maria Cleofé and Coronation of Thorns, and the Kiss of Judas and Jesus Traspasado, respectively.
