On Saturday, April 6, the XI edition of the Vuelta a Sierra Espuña was held.
Non-competitive event organized by the Club Senderista Totana.
On this occasion the distance was 60 km and a large group of CAT athletes participated among them: Aurelio Canovas, Carlos Ballester, Ruth, Maria Jose Rodriguez, Pedro, Ino Casanovas, Javi and Mario Molina.
That same day, three volunteers from the CAT collaborated in the Local Athletics Phase that was carried out by the Department of Sports and it was qualifying for the Regional Championship to be held in the coming weeks in Alhama.
It involved almost a hundred young people from different schools and colleges of the municipality and the CAT made clear its intention that Totana has an athletics school for the next school year.
On Sunday, April 7, the Nogalte Trail of Puerto Lumbreras was held, a scoring event for the Regional Mountain Racing League of the FEDME, where there were two distances, one of 13 km and another of 24 km.
Borja Martínez participated in the 13 km race, finishing in 43rd position overall and 3rd in the Male Promise category, making a great time of 1 hour, 26 minutes and 27 seconds.
In the test of 24 km, Jesús Serrano participated, finished the 33rd in the general classification, and in the 6th position of the Veteran B Category, with a time of 02h 43m 26s.
On Sunday, Edu Lucas again represented the CAT in Run Run Parkinson's de Murcia.
The test had a distance of 7 km that Edu traveled in a time of 23 minutes and 13 seconds.
Finished 5th of the general and 1st in the Veteran category A.
