The mayor of Totana, Andrés García, and the councilors Agustín Gonzalo Martínez and María José Bedia, representing the Municipal Corporation, attended today the closing ceremony of the XII Health Week of the CEIP "La Cruz" that was held under the motto "I know myself, I love and I respect myself", from February 5 to 15, and that has culminated with the celebration of the III Healthy Walk.
With this action, the teaching center wanted to respond to the need to carry out an intervention at an emotional level, and help the students to develop a positive image of themselves, guiding them for a friendly coexistence that improves their relationship with the environment and health. from his body.
The program has included transversal activities for the different educational sections, such as stories and lectures on awareness about visual health, learning to ask for help, self-knowledge, identification of abuse, promotion of good treatment among equals, emotions and sensations, among others.
