The Department of Equality of the City of Totana has convened a silent rally, with the collaboration of associations of women and housewives of the municipality, for this Sunday December 23, from 12:00 hours, in the Plaza Balsa Vieja , as an act of condemnation and rejection for the murder of Laura Luelmo in El Campillo (Huelva).
The symbolic act, whose authorization has been requested to the Delegation of the Government in Murcia, will consist of a simple concentration in which five minutes of silence will be kept;
and will have the assistance of municipal representatives and neighborhood groups and associations of the municipality.
This initiative organized by the Department is to respond to the request promoted in social networks by residents of Totana to staging the rejection of citizens totanera to this unfortunate event and last case of sexist violence.
