The Local Government Board has approved the acceptance of two grants granted by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities to finance two social projects to support family and childhood, respectively, with a total budget of 65,547.89 euros.
The first of these is a project to support families with children in a situation of economic precariousness amounting to 27,047.89 euros, with which it is intended to support the coverage of basic needs of families with minors who are in a serious situation of social vulnerability, in situations of severe material deprivation or at risk of poverty with children in their care.
In addition, this includes covering basic needs such as food, hygiene or clothing, facilitating their access to other services such as health or education (school supplies or food aid), housing (rent and improvement in the conditions of habilitation of housing and supplies ), and of employment and accompaniment and social work with families.
The second is a project to support families with social and family responsibilities in the care of their children under age for 38,500 euros, and is aimed at families with dependent children who for any work, health or family circumstances require support complementary for your attention.
This initiative aims to facilitate their reconciliation of work and family life, as well as children's access to spaces where they can be cared for under proper supervision.
This project also includes initiatives to promote leisure, leisure, cultural and educational activities;
and others that favor the reconciliation of family and work life of families with dependent children in situations of vulnerability.
This direct subsidy is granted by the Autonomous Community within the framework of the aid order for the year 2018 for the development of actions to support families and children, aimed at municipalities in the region and associations of social services.
