The Department of Sports will launch on Friday October 5 School Sports program for the school year 2018/19, in collaboration with schools, sports clubs of Totana and the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia.
At the beginning of the school year, we will start with team sports, which are the following: Multisport, 3x3 Basketball, Futsal, Basketball, Handball and Minivoley.
And, during the course of the school year, the rest of the sports will begin: Chess, Athletics, Badminton, Cross Country, Playing Athletics, Orienteering, Petanque and Table Tennis.
All these sports are framed in the Local Phase of School Sports, collected in turn in the Regional Sports Promotion Championship organized by the Sports General Directorate of the Region of Murcia.
Participation in this program is completely free, and in addition, the best qualified students in the different local phases will have the opportunity to participate in the regional phases convened by the Autonomous Community.
This School Sports program is aimed at schoolchildren between the ages of 8 and 18, corresponding to the youngest, youngest, youngest, cadet and juvenile categories, both in men and women.
The inscriptions for all the activities will be carried out through the teachers of Physical Education of the different centers of education of the locality, and in the case of team sports, which is the first call of this program, the registration period will be from September 7 to 28.
