During the afternoon of Thursday, August 16, Civil Protection has activated an emergency device to deal with the incidents caused by heavy rainfall that have occurred in our municipality and that have affected especially the urban case.
The services performed have been related to the fall of trees and branches, cuts of steps of ramblas, flooded subway, dragging stones on the road, lifting of sewer covers, flooded houses and flooding of flood areas (Tirol-Camilleri neighborhood and new College of La Cruz).
Even two with vehicles have been trapped in the underground passage of Avenida Juan Carlos I and in the ravine of La Santa.
The storms have discharged significant amounts of precipitation in a short space of time, which has led to this series of incidents.
