The Local Government Board has recently approved the proposal of the councilor of Archaeological Sites, Juan José Cánovas, to sign a collaboration agreement with the Association for the Cultural and Tourism Promotion "Kalathos" for the cession of the use of premises of the third floor and part of the basement of the old Technological Craft Center (CTA) of Totana.
The agreement has a duration of one year and it is intended to use the premises for activities related to archeology, and basically with the recovery of archaeological materials and further study that can help the understanding of the local history of Totana in times past .
The totanero Consistory has, among its objectives, the promotion and dissemination of its cultural heritage, with special interest the recovery and conservation of the archaeological heritage of the municipality;
as well as the revitalization of municipal infrastructures and the development of non-profit activities of various kinds that have an impact on the improvement of the environment and quality of life of the residents.
