The Department of Education of the City of Totana wants to publicly congratulate the students totaneros Javier Martinez Romera (IES Juan de la Cierva) and Fernando Moreno Martinez (IES Prado Mayor), to get both the Extraordinary High School Award, as well as their families and the educational communities of the two totanero institutes.

The Ministry of Education announces, each year, in a competitive competition regime, the Extraordinary Baccalaureate Awards corresponding to each school year, in order to recognize the merit, effort and dedication of the students who have finished, in the educational centers of the Region. of Murcia, the studies of Baccalaureate derived from the LOE, with the modifications of curriculum and organization for this stage introduced by the LOMCE, with excellent academic trajectory.

The performance of the Extraordinary Baccalaureate Awards of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia for the 2017-2018 academic year took place on July 2, 2018. A total of 13 prizes are awarded with an economic prize of 700 euros each, so that these two totaneros have been selected with this award.

The Directorate General of Attention to Diversity and Educational Quality of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will now send to the General Directorate of Educational Planning and Management of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, before October 15, 2018, the relationship Students who have obtained an Extraordinary Baccalaureate Award in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia in the call corresponding to the 2017/18 academic year, so that these students can opt, prior registration, to the National High School Awards convened by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.

To the regional call can present the students who have attended and exceeded, in Spanish educational centers, the two courses of any form of Baccalaureate established in the Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, of Education, in the writing given in the Organic Law 8/2013, of December 9, for the Improvement of the Educational Quality and in addition, having completed said studies, in the academic course corresponding to each call, in a teaching center, public or private, of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, in person or remotely.

To be able to participate in the call it is necessary that the average score of the core, specific and self-configuration autonomous courses, taken and passed of the two Bachillerato courses is equal to or greater than 8.75 points.
