The III International Festival of Ancient Music ECOS of Sierra Espuņa begins this week

Totana will host two concerts on July 22 and 24: Ensemble Ecos de Sierra Espuņa (sanctuary of Santa Eulalia, 8:30 pm) and the Quartetto Nero ( parish of Santiago, 8:30 p.m.)

The III International Festival of Ancient Music ECOS of Sierra Espuņa will turn during the second half of July to the municipalities of the Sierra Espuņa regional park in the venue of a dozen concerts in which the history of music, cultural heritage and nature make up a singular harmony in the cultural panorama of the Region of Murcia.

From July 18 to 28, Aledo, Totana, Alhama de Murcia, Pliego, Librilla and Mula will be the stages of performances that will reach corners such as the Strait of Agualeja (Aledo), the Archaeological Museum Los Baņos (Alhama de Murcia), the Sanctuary of La Santa (Totana) or the Room of the Tinajas of the Town hall of Pliego, flooding these spaces of medieval and baroque sounds.

This new edition of the International Festival of Ancient Music ECOS of Sierra Espuņa, organized by Early Music together with the association of tourism services Territorio Sierra Espuņa, will become a musical reference in the Region until July 28.

Artists from Poland, Argentina and the Netherlands are part of the repertoire of concerts by invited and resident groups, as well as the Espuņa Ecos ECOSB, which will also include a program of specialized courses and educational activities for children.

Territorio Espuņa has designed for this year different tour packages and gastronomic experiences with which to enjoy Ecos Festival by the six municipalities of Sierra Espuņa.

The ancient music festival of Sierra Espuņa, ECOS Festival has outlined all the details of its third edition, which will hold during this second fortnight of July natural or historical emblematic spaces of Aledo, Mula, Totana, Alhama de Murcia, Librilla and Pliego.

EnECOSse mixes ancient music, gastronomy, nature and heritage to propose a genuine cultural and tourist offer, articulated around the international academy, ancient music concerts, children's activities and experiences in the territory.
