The Local Government Board has recently approved the proposal of the council of Finance and Contracting, Ana María Cánovas, to initiate and process the tender procedure and approve the specifications of the contract for the use of hunting in forests of public utility owned by the City Council. Totana
This initiative is promoted in view of the resolution of the General Directorate of the Natural Environment, approving the Hunting Plan for the 2018 annuity. The contract defined is classified as a patrimonial administrative contract.
To this resolution have also included the technical conditions to govern the use in the mountains of public utility, with the objective of alienation of hunting in the mountains of the Catalog of Forests of Public Utility of the Region of Murcia and the City Council of Totana.
To do this, the following lots are established: in lot 1, Monte Cabezo Gordo and Sierra de Tirieza;
in lot 2, Monte Coto de Santa Eulalia and Cabezo de La Rendija;
and in lot 3, Monte Sierra and Llano de las Cabras.
For each one of them the modalities of minor and major hunting will be authorized.
Regarding the selection procedure and contract award, this will be open, simplified summary and ordinary processing, which may present a proposal to all interested persons.
The minimum annual amounts established for the first annuity of the lease of the payment plan will be the following:
- Lot 1, Monte Cabeza Gordo and Sierra de Tirieza will have an annual amount of 2,764.86 euros.
- Lot 2, Monte Coto de Santa Eulalia and Cabezo de la Rendija will have an annual amount of 511.50 euros.
- Lot 3, Monte Sierra and Llano de las Cabras will have an annual amount of 602.52 euros.
The technical conditions established for all the forests will be as follows: the owner of the exploitation will be responsible for the marking of the boundary in which the mount of public utility is included, being obliged to remove the existing hunting signs and the second condition will be the continuity of the use will be subject by the owner of the hunting, tenant or persons who represent their representation.
