The agronomist totanero researcher, Pedro Martínez Gómez, gave last night the conference entitled "Agriculture in Totana, a historical and future perspective", within the cultural events scheduled in the framework of the Centennial of the City 1918-2018.
In the act was the first deputy mayor, Juan José Cánovas, the councilor for Culture, Eulalia Moreno, and other representatives of the municipal government;
whose exhibition was held in the municipal hall "Gregorio Cebrián".
Pedro Martínez Gómez, agronomist and scientific researcher at CEBAS de Murcia, was also councilor of the Totana City Council in several legislatures.
The Department of Culture also organizes, within the same program, on Wednesday June 27, the round table entitled "The arrival of democracy in Totana told by its protagonists, the first democratic elections";
which will take place on Wednesday, June 27, starting at 8:30 p.m., and will include as participants the former politicians Ginés Carreńo, Manuel Moreno, Josefina Morales and Francisco Miralles.
