The Local Government Board has given the green light to the proposal of the Councilor for Education, Eulalia Moreno, for the City of Totana to provide collaboration to the Health Education project promoted by the CEIP "La Cruz" of this town, specifying that this will be specified in technical support and loan of material, and will not entail any expense charged to the municipal budget.
The CEIP "La Cruz" de Totana has been working on the elaboration of an educational project within the call contained in the resolution of May 16, 2018, jointly with the general directorates of Public Health and Addictions, by which the call is established of Education for Health projects in non-university educational centers of public ownership for the 2018/19 academic year.
The purpose of the project is to promote the implementation of stable and effective health education programs that allow for the systematization of the incorporation of healthy life habits in the face of other types of behaviors.
Among the evaluation criteria for approval, the participation of the municipal area in the implementation of the program stands out, specifically requesting the commitment of the City Council to participate in its development.
