The parties of the Senior Center of Totana are held from June 11 to 18 with a wide range of activities, organized jointly by the Senior Center of Totana Association, Municipal Center for Older People and the Department of the Elderly City Council of Totana.
Senior Councilor, Antonia Camacho, and representatives of the Board of Directors of the Municipal Center for Elderly People, Jerónimo Martínez Gómez and Pepi Crespo, have presented the program of celebrations of the Senior Center this year.
The program begins on Monday June 11, with a training talk on the health of the elderly whose title is the "Promotion of health before the heat", given by José Díaz and Eulalia Sánchez.
This will take place in the auditorium of the Municipal Center of the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, starting at 6:00 p.m., and at the end a gift will be given to the attending members.
In addition, on Wednesday June 13 will be the distribution of water-lemon for all members of the center, at the door of the Municipal Center of the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, from 12:00 hours, which has the collaboration of the María Josefa Restaurant-Cafeteria of the Senior Center.
That same day will also take place a play "The Age of the Pavosaur" by José Cedena, from the Theater Group "La Pulgara" of Lorca;
and will take place in the auditorium of the Municipal Center of the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, starting at 6:00 p.m.
Likewise, on Thursday, June 14, a Mass will be celebrated, mass sung by the Rociero Group - Los Romeros de Lebor, followed by the coronation of the Queen of the 2018 Festivities and her bridesmaids by the municipal authorities , and finally a musical and dance performance by the group "Aires Latinos" will take place.
All this will be held at the door of the Municipal Senior Center in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, starting at 9:00 p.m.
The program of events continues on Friday, June 15, with the food coexistence end of season and a musical performance and dances-Rifa "Pedro Hernández", in the restaurant "Venta La Rata", from 2:00 p.m. .
At the end a gift will be given to the attending Members.
On Saturday, June 16, there will be a musical and dance performance, which will take place at the door of the Elderly Municipal Center in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, starting at 10 pm;
While on Sunday, June 17, there will be the family lottery-charity bingo activity, which will take place in the auditorium of the Municipal Center of the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Next, there will be a musical performance and dances with "Alberto", starting at 10 pm at the door of the Municipal Senior Center in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja.
At the end a chocolatata and buns will be offered for all attendees.
Finally, on Monday June 18 will be the act of awarding diplomas for all the partners participating in the Activities of the 2017/2018 Course.
It will be given to the participating partners in the courses, workshops and classes of the Municipal Center for the Elderly, whose act will be in the auditorium of the Municipal Center of the Plaza de las Balsa Vieja, starting at 6:00 p.m.
At the end of the act an aperitif will be served for all the attendees, with the collaboration of AMG-Servicios Integrados SL Dining and Catering Service of the Senior Center.
