In April, the two occupational training courses began to be offered, which from the Labor 2.0 project: Youth Guarantee were scheduled for this edition.

The training courses are hairdressing services and basic operations in the cafeteria, pastry and confectionery, where a total of 31 young people (16 in hairdressing and 15 in cafeteria), for 154 hours, will receive training in these professions.

The young participants come from the municipalities of Alhama de Murcia and Totana.

In addition to the central module that is related to the general subject of the training to be taught, hairdressing (90 h) and cafeteria, pastry and baking (90h), several complementary modules are also taught;

new technologies (48h), gender equality and opportunities (8h) and two prevention modules (8 h).

In the cafeteria, pastry and confectionery training, thirty practical non-work hours in real work environments are scheduled for young people who pass the theoretical training.

The young people participating in the training, aged between the ages of 16 and 29 and beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System, are participants in the Labor 2.0 project: Youth Guarantee, which is carried out by the Collective for Social Promotion. Candil and is financed by the European Social Fund, through the Operative Youth Employment Program (2014-2020) and the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

This type of training activities are included in a project of socio-labor integration with which it is intended to train and guide unemployed young people in the region of Bajo Guadalentín (Totana, Alhama de Murcia, Aledo, Librilla and Mazarrón), which meet the requirements to participate in the program, to improve their level of employability and get an insertion in the working world or consider resuming their studies again or continue expanding their occupational training.
