The student associations of IES Juan de la Cierva and IES Prado Mayor -ADEBI and AEP, respectively-, both organizations belonging to the Murcia Federation of Student Associations -FEMAE- will organize a basketball tournament to highlight the importance of the activity physics among youth.
The sports competition will be aimed at all young people throughout the Region of Murcia and will be by teams of three or four people, in addition, the tournament will be played in 3x3 mode.
The teams by categories will face each other until they win in their respective categories and take a lot of prizes.
Each team can register in two ways, either through an online form (at the end) or, through the physical registration forms that are delivered to teachers of physical education in the institutes or hang in the corridors from the center.
Sign up will have a symbolic value of 20 euros per team, which includes the official tournament shirt and expenses related to its preparation.
As a great novelty and in order to publicize the associationism between youth and students - the reason for the name of the championship - a specific category will be created for student associations that want to participate.
"With this type of activities we intend to offer different leisure alternatives organized by young people and for young people," said the general secretary of ADEBI, Fran Acosta.
On the other hand, Sara Lopez, spokesperson for AEP, invited all young people who are willing to have a good time and meet new people to participate. "
The sports competition will take place in the Manolo Ibáñez Sports Pavilion of the municipality of Totana at 10:00 h.
It will begin with a brief opening by the representatives of the organizing entities and political representatives at the local and regional level.
The activity also has the collaboration of the Basketball Club of Totana and the City of Totana.
