The Adult Education Center "Bajo Guadalentín", based in the old "Juan de la Cierva" institute located on Avenida de Lorca, 62;
has officially opened the registration period for the entire training offer for the academic year 2018/2019.
The Councilor for Education, Eulalia Moreno, and the director of the Center for Adult Education, Francisco Vicente, presented the training offer and the process of recruitment of students for the next course, which has a wide and varied schedule adapted to the needs of the users.
The day is split so that ESO can be completed in a flexible and comfortable way, from Monday to Thursday in person;
while in the evenings the workshops are offered.
The educational offer of the center is divided into regulated teachings, which are those with which you can obtain an academic degree of an official nature;
and non-regulated education, referring to those courses that are useful to users for their training or even for their personal satisfaction.
This center, which is publicly dependent on the Ministry of Education and which uses municipally owned facilities, provides regulated education, Secondary Education for Adults (ESPA I and ESPA II), which is the equivalent of ESO and is taught in two years and with a limited number of subjects.
The non-regulated teachings that are contemplated for the next academic year 2018/2019 are the courses of "Computer Workshop and Classroom Mentor" with about 150 courses online-, "Workshop of Literacy", "Workshop of Spanish for Foreigners" (2 hours) , "English Workshop" to be presented at the A1 and A2 level of the Official School of Languages â€‹â€‹(6 hours).
Likewise, the preparation of the "Access to Higher Degree Training Cycles" tests and the training for the "Access to the University" tests for people over 25 and 45 years of age (access to higher education training cycle) ).
