The councilman of Social Welfare and Citizenship, Juan Carrion, attended the Regional Seminar "Higher Education, Volunteering and Intercultural Relations", organized by the Federation of Immigrants in the region of Murcia, which took place in the auditorium of the University of Murcia.
The event was attended by the Consul General of Ecuador in Murcia, Patricio Garcés, the Director General of Immigration, Development Cooperation and Volunteerism, Quílez Leopoldo Navarro, the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Guillermo Díaz Baños, and the president of FEDASIM Interculturalism, Manuel Ruiz Figueroa, who were responsible for inaugurating this conference.
This meeting, as said Councilman, served as a forum to present different experiences related to multiculturalism and volunteer work being carried out from that school.
Also during the day was made an international food tasting and various folk dances of the five continents where the symbols were present on five continents.
The councilman of Social Welfare and Citizenship FEDASIM encouraged to continue in the line of work and expansion through the region of Murcia in favor of multiculturalism and the full integration of the immigrant population.
